I left the oil filter pad alone. It was a J-SPEC engine and really didn't need much. I did the mods recommended by Tracy as well as installing TES o-rings throughout. I didn't go with high-compression rotors as I had planned on turbo-charging... since changed my mind on that. =20 Mark S.
