I am guessing they will be to short to use with Fred's mounting plate. Does anyone know how thick the MMP1 plate is? I do not see it listed on Fred's site. Hi Bobby, My plate is laying in the garage, and is 1/2" thick. I'm also sure the studs will be too short, but I'm guessing McMaster Carr has a solution to that problem :-) I wonder what the modification to the dipstick will be. Looks like it will probably have to be bent near the bottom to get near the deep end of the pan. I should have mine Friday, so we'll see.
