Hmmm, gotta measure.=20 =20 The only problem with high oil levels that I know of is in the front = cover area, where the counterweight, and oil chain can whip the oil into a = frenzy. Having the sump directly below the front cover will probably eliminate = the problem. The other thing that helps is increasing the distance from the bottom of the engine to the top of the oil level. You'll be doing that = to some extent with Fred's mount plate, as long as you lower the oil pickup = to make up for the plate thickness. =20 =20 Cheers, Rusty =20 =20 PS- I just measured, and think this will work with one small cut and = weld operation.
