Funny you should mention this. I have a note on my desk to try removing the bearing from the bad rotor, and the plan would be to put it in the oven. The only thing that concerns me is the possibility of vaporizing lead or some other toxic substance in our oven. Maybe I'll seal it in aluminum foil just in case.
