Aaaah, I see now. You were referring to P4-5(data out) & P4-6(data in) to use for a serial connection. This would be logical, if only it's talking in the right language.

I wasn’t suggesting that the EC2 be the source – only that there is already data coming out of the EM2 on the pins that are connected to the EC2. Since there is obviously already some data coming out of those pins – just tap in there – and of course have Tracy dump all the data onto those EM2 pins.
