Wait a minute.  On the bottom of the regulator page there is a link
called  suggested parts where several fuel guages and the AN-6 flare to
AN-6 'O' ring adaptor is called out.  But the description for the
EAR-985006ERL is a -6 AN to 9/16 in. x 18 port thread.  I think you have
the right description, but the wrong part number.  In fact, I couldn't
find exactly the right p/n for an Earl's fitting.  the EAR981506 could
be used by machining the cone off one end.

I ordered this one for the Slingshot, along with the fittings.  If
you order the fittings from Summit, I can save you some searching.
Here are their part number for the Earl's (curse them but they sell
  what I need) fittings.

  AN-6 O-ring port to AN-6 flare -  EAR-985006ERL
AN-6 O-ring port plug - EAR-581406ERL  (packaged in pairs, but
  cheap)

  Cheers,

Rusty, thanks for the part numbers, but just wondering how you knew
you needed the O-ring fittings rather than the NPT/AN-6 fittings?  I
never found any description of the fittings required other than
  AN-6.

  Thanks

Rusty is right. All 3 fittings are Oring to AN.
