Al, that is good input.  First of all, I am not doing this to solve a problem with the cooling system.  I agree that it is not going to improve anything in that regard

 

Dave; sorry, I misunderstood.  I thought one of the concerns was that you did not get sufficient cooling with 50/50 w/g, and that you were concerned about the potential freezing of pure water.

 

Add in that it is much more resistant to micro boiling, and it is reasonable that NPG may do a better job of keeping the very hottest parts cool.

 

Nucleate boiling dramatically increases heat transfer.  It is when you get into film boiling that things get bad in a hurry.
