I trimmed 1/2" from the oil dipstick standpipe = to account for the engine mount thickness across the oil pan, so that the = stock dipstick reads true. =20 Dave Staten Did you extend the oil pickup tube 1/2"? I originally left mine the = stock length, so I had to leave the dipstick stock as well. That kept the relationship between the pickup, and the dipstick markings the same. = Now that I have the pan off, I'm going to make a 1/2" spacer to lower the pickup, as I should have done originally. Then of course I'll have to = cut off the dipstick tube 1/2".
