Unfortunately the engine is not on the airplane but on a stand and the strut is not hooked = up. The engine is temporarily supported by a piece of square tubing slipped under the pan. I think you can get the idea of how the strut works = however. =20 =20 Thanks for the extra pic Jerry. I see how it works, but I can't say I'm convinced that I like it. Gotta think about this some more. I'm sure = all the bases are covered, but it sure doesn't look as strong as Fred's = mount to me. I'm also hoping Mistral, or anyone will make a front cover that = bolts to a standard Lycoming mount.
