I immagine that truck set does not have ls1 coil tips on end.  I got a generic set for a v-8 and called MSD and the send(for free) 8 LS1 ends that were easy to crimp onto the generic wires (that I cut to whatever length I wanted.

A short time back someone stated that they purchased ignition wire for a
V-8, that all the wires were the same length.  What is the length and number
of these wires for the LS-1 coils.  Thank you.    JohnD

Hi John,

Here's a copy of a message I sent a while back.

I called MSD, and asked about wires with LS1 ends, and they confirmed that
they only made them for specific engines.  The rep asked how long I needed
the wires to be, and I told him about a foot.  He searched through the
records, and found a part number MSD-32829, which is the 8.5mm super
conductor wire set for a V8 truck.  All the wires are one foot long, which
works perfectly for me.  This set is red, and was in stock at Summit for
about $55.  There is also a new black set with the part number of MSD-32823,
but Summit didn't list those yet.  Cheers,
Rusty
