The one source that I am aware of is Pacific Oil Cooler Service. They are a
FAA/PMA shop and I have been told that they have a good reputation. They
have been in business since 1961. I talked to them at OSH and plan to send
my 2nd gen oil cooler there. Their address is:
9761 Klingerman St
So. El Monte, Ca 991733
800-866-7335
www.oilcoolers.com
I don't remember their quote, but it seemed quite reasonable at the time. I
believe that others on the rotary newsletters have used them in the past. If
anyone else has information contrary to mine, please speak up!!!!!!!!!!

Subject: [FlyRotary] 2nd gen oil cooler
I assume that builders are using coolers out of a salvage car. Is there a
facility that cleans and tests these coolers? If the oil is not changed
regularly some of the coking due to crankcase oil injected into the
chambers could find its way to the cooler. What's a good price for a
useable 2nd gen cooler? I am looking for one as the one I have looks like
it was in heavy off road use. Thanks for any help.
