Some are cast and some are billet, both are hardened 2x's. Depends on the use for which one is better for the application.
Yes they use factory rotor oiling holes.

 That's good to know.  Can you confirm is that really is a "cast" shaft, and whether it uses the normal rotor cooling oil  holes?
