I had not investigated that. I have the stock timing as IO 86 BTDC. IC 75 ABDC.
My current bridge port IO 110 BTDC. IC 85 ABDC.
So even the factory Pport has pretty mild timing. I have a complete Pport in a car and several housings. I will set one up with the degree wheel in the next few days and see what looks good. I see the exhaust closing left stock at around 48 ATDC.
Then open the intake later than stock, to eliminate as much overlap as possible. The a way late closing point for the intake. It is modest because without a bunch of velocity when reversion happens it can spit back a bunch of mixture. So wider than stock and later open and close. With anything like the right runner length can ofset the reversion problem. It may take a while, I am supposed to be working in the house getting it ready to sell. (But of course I sneak into the shop every day for a while, when wife is at work).
