Can't tell for sure, but 321 is not as shinny as 304, which I guess has more
nickel or something.  I'm not a metal guy so maybe someone else can pipe up.
Although it is possible it polish both, I think the 321 will still have a
darker hue.

Really just a guess, but I can tell for sure that they are not cast iron
:-)

The exhaust pipe in the attached picture is 321 stainless.
