I've been lurking for a while and since I'm spending so much on Christmas presents lately that I felt I better try to move the last remaining piece from my last project...
Any of you guys interested in a Piper conversion (V6-STOL, Bushmaster, etc)? If so I still have the professionally built "made for a 13b" 4130 mount from my last one (which I sold before I could hang the engine). It was built by Snowline which welds engine mounts for Lancair and also welds assemblies for Aviat (Pitts, Husky). As a Christmas special I'll take $400 for it which is far less than it cost me. A 13B on a stretched Pacer really would make a fantastic bushplane for not a lot of money (basically a four place "quick build" Super Cub for around $20k).
Since it's been a while since I've posted I'll fill you in a little (to keep the human side going). I moved from Central Oregon and now am working as an engineer with Quest Aircraft in Sandpoint, ID. We're building a BIG bushplane called the Kodiak. It's rotary powered too...though we call it a turbine :) www.questaircraft.com In my spare time (between work and flying) I've started a small company selling VGs which has been a lot of fun. I'm also developing a big bushtire which will be sized for a light-sport size aircraft so you guys get those single rotors developed so I can hang one on my Rans S-7!
Joa
