There are ways to control the mixture on a Weber if interested.
I am considering playing with fuel injection but I plan on using a Weber as
the throttle body so the if anything goes wrong with the injection I can just
flip a switch and change over to the carb.

I am interested in anything you come up with injection wise. Also leaning
under power is of interest. We use a 48MM IDA with 38MM chokes.

Thank you.

Yes I think the 48 is best for a car as there are lots of bottom end flat spots on the 51.
There is a system used on snowmobiles that uses bleed air from the Venturi to the float bole but I have not looked into it really well but plan on it.
The system I use is a controllable air ram, with the ram closed the air is drawn totally from the air cleaner in which the float bole vent is located but when the air ram is opened it creates a higher pressure in the Venturi so they draw less fuel through the main jets, note that the ram tubes are located about an inch and a half from the velocity stacks.
I have the ram lever next to the throttle lever, at full throttle it will take full ram but if I pull the throttle back without pulling the ram back it will kill the engine, when I pull the power back for cruise I push in the ram until the rpm drops and then pull it back till it peaks.
At 15000 ft this ram will make 1000 rpm difference.
