I guess I didn't get any pictures of Atkins plane at OSH - at least I
couldn't find them. Joe Berki sent a good shot of his current intake
- just a couple of bell mouth adapters on the TWM throttle body.
Attached is a picture that shows a little of his previous setup. He
had more of a traditional enclosed intake. If I recall, he had an
open run from the front of his cowl to the TWM throttle but also had a
flap that could be moved to close that off and suck air through the
filter that you can see in the photo. He told me he used the internal
cowl air and filter while on the ground to keep from sucking in debris
and then in the air would swing the flap to directly feed "ram" air
from the front of his cowl.

Hi, Joe....thanks a bunch for the pictures. I have the same
manifold. I
can't tell from the pictures what he has done with the butterfly end
of the
throttlebody...open to the air or a plenum or air horns or ???.
Your
pictures do, however help a lot. I ran my fuel lines and pressure
regulator
in the same place as the photos you sent. Looks like at least I did
something correct. Any additional pictures you might have of his
setup
would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to help.
Hope I
can return the favor. Paul Conner
