A man has to do what a man has to do, so may you have much fun and enjoyment on your next project and keep us informed if indeed it is a rotary. 

Thanks for the comments John.  There's definitely another rotary in my future, or maybe two.  The Slingshot will fly with the 912S initially, but I'd like to put a single rotor in it eventually.   I have essentially decided to sell the RV-3 airframe, in order to build either an RV-7, or another RV-8.  If anyone wants it, let me know.  Otherwise, I'll advertise it once my hanger gets rebuilt, and I have room to pile the engine stuff.  I'm thinking $12k, for the complete RV-3, with B wings, and an extra canopy.  This would include the current 13B mount, as well as the stock Lycoming mount, but no engine, or anything on the panel.
