Hi Bernie,
I had my Mazda oil cooler hard mounted to the engine on a U bracket
attached to the exhaust studs under the muffler with braces back to the
engine mount tubes. I had 340 hours on it when I sold the airplane 3
months ago. I never had one bit of trouble with this cooler, the engine
was mounted plugs up. I am just finishing a RV 7A incase you are
wondering why I sold it.

Question for folks that have over 100 hours on mazda coolers. Are you
soft mounted like Lee H suggests?
