I flew the Cozy today after doing quite a bit of work, replacing a fuel regulator and working also on a noisy wheel bearing. It was only a short flight, a half hour, but after landing, I have absolutely nothing to repair or adjust. Usually my ratio has been about 3-4 hours of tinkering for each 1/2 hour of flight. Now all I have to do is put in more fuel and fly it. The engine ran good, but still a little rich at lower RPM's. No missing, no sags, and definitely no oil leaking out. It was pretty windy, and getting stronger, so I had to cut the flight short. It was also too bumpy to do any tuning on the engine. I tried once to make it a little richer, and ended up way lean after a bump. The engine started to cut out, and it took a couple of attempts before I got the mixture back to the correct spot. I decided that I do the tuning another day. On the rich issue,I'm running the stock turbo injectors, which are 550cc. I'm wondering if running the smaller, 460cc, injectors in the primaries would fix that problem. On the turbo front, I'm collecting parts to convert to a T4 turbo. So far, I've got a SS exhaust manifold, and a Garret T04 turbo, which is .96 A/R on the exhaust side. I'm now working on getting a waste gate, and exhaust flange. Steve Brooks Cozy N75CZ Turbo Rotary
