I sent the e-mail before I received my messages. So
sorry to hear about your incident, but elated that you followed rule #1....Fly
the airplane....You obviously kept your cool and handled the emergency very
well. After seeing all that you have done to your RV, I have no doubt that you
will be flying again very soon, be it the Slingshot, the RV or both. (knowing
you, it will probably be both). So glad to hear you are OK and that the RV
is not damaged. Bad news is you may have to rebuild the rotary...good news is
that it is not a Lycoming you have to rebuild. Please keep us posted on
what you find out about the evap core, etc after you get it home and have a
chance to take a closer look. Paul Conner
