Seriously, on "the other list" this came up recently
discussing how to optimize Perry Micks Long-Eze and also discussing the
Rose-Racer ( wants to win next years "Unlimited" Class in Reno then change the
engine for something more powerful and break the soundbarrier on a prop!!) which
runs a directdrive prop. This prop is more like an unducted
fan.......
Downside: that unducted fan on the Rose-racer is
expected to be an Earsplitter........so bad it actually gurts. But there may be
a way to get something more quiet!
