Charlie: It took a bit
more fuel line plus a couple of bulkhead fittings, but I felt best
about running the return lines to the outer end of the tanks. As my
RV-10 has Quick Built wings, the tanks were already built and sealed.
I installed a 90 degree bulkhead fitting thru the rear wall just below
the fill cap (because I could reach there to install the nut on the
inside). Ran the line thru the six mounting plates on the rear of the
tank between the tank rear wall and the spar, terminating in a straight
bulkhead connector in the innermost plate.
Figured I can mix the oil by running the pump a bit, or flush water
thru that configuration. It's only time plus about $30 in extra parts.
