Talked to the local DAR today, and it looks like

My DAR turned up with the paperwork all pre-typed, so it was too late to
change the 40 mile test area. Might be a good plan to discuss having a wider
test area before he comes.

Thanks, John....I talked to the DAR again today, and he felt that 100 miles should be sufficient for testing a canard.  Of course I agreed with him.  Paul Conner
