OK, Ed Anderson taught us that it what we are sure of, but is wrong that can screw up your mind. The remote filter is from Racing Beat and has 4 ports. 2 have oil lines and the other 2 have a temp and oil pressure sensor. I have had 3 different people standing by the firewall when the system was pressurised and are inches from the filter. They all agreed that it was leaking between the filter and the mount. I had checked the #10 AN fittings where the lines are attached, but did not check the probe fittings because when they were installed they had the orange marker stuff showing that they had not moved. Finally today I pulled the whole system and pressurised it with air underwater. You can probably guess that it was the cottonpicking temp fitting that was leaking because it had not been tightened before putting the orange marker on. You can't beleive the hours and frustrations this stupid thing that I knew was not the problem has cost me.
Well back to the real problems now. I am apparently still running very rich. The engine gets much smoother and will run down in the 12-15 inch manifold pressure area when the primary injector is disabled. My plugs are suetted (SP) up after 10-15 minute run. Not sure it is doing it on both channels, will try to determine that tomorrow for Tracy to do some head scratching whether he thinks it is the controller or the FI'ers.
I still have great hope that this is going to get sorted out shortly so that we can taxi and get the DAR in here. Last time he gave me 50 miles around OBE because I told him I did not wish to go S or E. There is PBI class C to south and the ocean to the east. This time I am going to ask for 50 miles around River Ranch. This will allow me to go to places like Lakeland :>)
