Way to go, Paul.

We all want to see that first flight post-card perfect (or reasonably close
to it {:>).

Hi, fellow rotary enthusiasts.....I finally received the aircraft
registration from the FAA.  Talked to the local DAR today, and it looks
like
he will schedule inspection in a week or so.  I was going to use a DAR
from
Dothan, AL then someone at the airport said, "why don't you use the DAR
that
lives right here in Mobile, AL".  Never knew one lived so close.
I finally got around to "shrinking" some photos down to a size that
can
be sent via e-mail, so here is the famous cowling that replaced the
butt-ugly SQ2000 cowling. I modified a Velocity cowling and it is
considerably less draggy than the original cowl.  Hope to give flight
reports soon.  Thanks so much to all of you fellow rotary enthusiasts who
have offered advice and assistance along the way. I couldn't have done it
without your help.  sincerely,  Paul Conner, 13b powered SQ2000 in Mobile,
AL
