Now you're talk'n.  I hate sump tanks.  The only advantage to having one
is
to eliminate having to install a fuel return line to the main tank.  Not
a
good enough reason.

The advantage is simplicity (= reliability).  Gravity feed from both
main tanks.  No valves; no transfer pumps; no fuel management; one sump
drain.
