That voltage is OK, but I would not want to see it much above 15V for a long period of time, as it may start gassing, that would shorten life especially if it is a sealed battery. OTOH anything above 14.2 volts does nothing to increase the state of charge.

I find that my alternator is maintaining voltage at 14.6-14.8.  This seems a bit high, but is it a problem?  The only thing I can think of is that it may reduce battery life.

 

For you other guys with composite airplanes, especially those with the engine in the back (where it is supposed to beJ), and battery in front; are you finding any noise problems in avionics that may be resulting from the EC2 injector/ignition leads?  Anticipating the need for some filtering.
