It was kinda funny to look at the pix and think hey, that looks a lot like my place/project.....wait!. That IS my project David Staten has cleaned up/ported/painted our 13b and we are currently waiting for the rebuild kit to arrive. So far, the stock cowl seems to be working on the smaller 13b......even it it winds up being too tight, I just keep thinking of the poor guys squeezing the engine in an RV-3 or something similar. Next to them, we must have tons of room. The timing of your post is funny....I started my cowl/wing transitions this week. I am about 98% done with the structural parts of the airframe/wings/canard....I think the cowl is the last (other than some "minor" fairings)....then I gotta make it "pretty" and start the real work, micro, sand repeat....interior, engine....and finally instruments. Geesh. I gotta admint, yours looks way better than mine. Maybe that will be something to aspire to after we are all flying. ;-) All the best, Chris Christopher Barber Attorney and Counselor at Law "Serving the needs of Senior Texans" Barber Law Firm 11930 S Sam Houston Pkwy E Suite 103 Houston, Texas 77089-4755 281-464-LAWS (5297) CBarber@TexasAttorney.net www.TexasAttorney.net -----Original Message----- From: Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net]On Behalf Of Al Gietzen Sent: Friday, November 05, 2004 10:29 AM To: Rotary motors in aircraft Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: cowl on Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: cowl on I recognize that Stock Cowl Pic.. and to think..I was actually thinkin..
