I am looking at a custom setup using a Turbosmart Eboost, an external wastegate and a turbo that is matched for the application. Whoa! Don't buy one of these yet. I have one on my turbo installation on my RV9, as it was claimed that it could be used to maintain a constant MAP by absolute pressure reference, but so far I haven't figured out how and there is no hint as to this in the manual. I need to contact the manufacture directly about this, before I can say yea or nay, but so far it has only functioned as a really expen$ive differential controller. Unfortunately I'm currently loaded down with way to much workload as I'm currently attending tech school and flying home on the weekends (commercial) to try to be a new Dad, so it will be at least another month and a bit before I'll have time to go flying again at which time I'll further test the E-boost and report on it to the list. Until then save your money.
