my airport, TTD, is on the Columbia river gorge, home of world class windsurfing. one day a 45 mph wind lifted the roof on a double hangar(no center posts), unhooked the door which runs on floor rollers, which then crashed on a Seneca and a Mercedes. our hangars are all of 6 years old. it doesn't take much wind sometimes.

compared to your experience). Even this far up we saw gusts of 70+. So you
other folks will understand, I'm about 300miles INLAND from Rusty. He was
right on the Northeast side of the eye, WORST possible location to face a
