Paul Conner, Mobile, AL (We ain't got none of them dad-burned tests, either). Put the engine in your car and drive it on down to Alabama. Heck, we don't even have inspection stickers, whatever they are. I also couldn't resist. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Denny Mortensen" To: "Rotary motors in aircraft" Sent: Saturday, September 18, 2004 5:35 PM Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Quiet You boys must be City folk. Out here in Iowa we aint got no such a thing as emissions testing. Why heck I could put a turbine in the buggy if I had a hankerin. As long as I didn't break the noise or speed limits nobody'd even think twice. Well I best get back to my chores, I'm a burning some brush. :) Sorry for the off post but couldn't resist taunting the benefits of country living. Denny Do not archive -----Original Message----- What kind of dreadful state do you live in that won't let you swap engines after you get your emissions sticker? We have random testing in Ohio. And required testing in a few areas where pollution is high. I have never seen one of the random testing sites being set up. >> Homepage: http://www.flyrotary.com/ >> Archive: http://lancaironline.net/lists/flyrotary/List.html
