While I have had somewhat more pleasant exchange with my sales rep, I have sent him another message reminding him that the projected ship date was August. In the meantime, I have located 4 other sources that advertise the same terminal by Metri-Pack part number. There are a number of others that would appear to work, but I am only looking into those sources that have the terminal by Metri-Pack part number.. If the response I get back from WAYTEK is not satisfactory, I intend to contact these other sources and see what I price I can obtain. The prices vary from $6.10 for a pack of 10 (hands up - this is a robbery) to 0.14 per terminal, min order of $25 which would give me 178 terminals - somewhat more than what I need {:>) I'll let you know what I find out.
