flooding
Bernie chickened out and went to NC because
when I left it was a class 4 and beating the heck out of the Bahamas. Still
have not heard from my friends on Cat Island.
We did not get any water in the house (hardwood
floors don't appreciate water). Hangar with uninsured RV9A rotary about ready
to fire up was not hurt. Lost a shingle or two off the hangar. Some folks here
in the airpark had major damage because their shingles were stapled and
departed. They have some major water damage.
Haven't tried to call Tracy, I am on generator
and do not expect power for another week. My phone is obviously working.
All you guys can start another prayer chain to
keep Ivan away from populations. Guess Grenada took a whipping from it
today.

flooding
Has anyone heard from Tracy about whether all
the rain in Northern Florida and Georgia is causing flooding of the river in
their locale?

Still no power here. I charged the laptop
from the car with an inverter and reconnected the severed phone company
lines in the yard :(
I spoke to Buly - He's fine.
No damage to house or plane. Lots of
downed trees and debris.
John (But I do have power at the
hangar.... )
