I lay in bed last night thinking about hole saws & fly cutters and knew there was another tool I was not thinking of using. The Unibit is the perfect thing - I have the 3/4" big one. Thanks. As I re-measured my cores this morning, looks like, if I leave 1/8 clearance from inbd and outbd edges of end cap plate, the new/desired hole could be a max of 1.0 inch. I think 3/4 is what I'm going to stick with to replace the existing 1/2" OD tube. Ed, Steve, anybody: What size water hose (ID) is standard on a 13B water pump? I need to know what size "inlet/outlet with bung" to buy to weld into my "parallel flow 'splitters' to accept a water hose of same ID as Mazda RX-7 o 8. I googled "bung radiator" and got www.becool.com which has a ".080 1 1/2" X 6" long straight universal aluminum inlet/outlet with 3/8" Bung". Local Mazda has no hoses, radiators, or water pumps for me to measure. Anyone know the ID?
