Don’t
all cores have these plates ? These
are GM evaporator cores, though the size varies by a ¼” they are pretty close to
the same size. Both had the tubes
on each end coming out of the top, which is why I went with these particular
ones.
OK, we may be
talking about two different cores. Mine have a tank on each
side, with one tube in each tank. Some cores have both tubes
coming out of the same tank, so I suppose that tank must be internally
divided, and one tube run to each partition of that tank. It sounds like
this may be the way yours was. Is that correct? Were both tubes
originally coming out of the same
tank?
