This could be my problem. Steve, I was just reading your last message. When you said you had no thermostat, I was wondering if you had plugged that bypass hole. If it's open, that's almost certainly your problem. The other thing I wondered was if your engine was full of rust, like Dave's engine was. I don't recall how long it's been since your engine was rebuilt? Good luck. I hope it's something that simple.
