Nothing gets to the airframe and that frothy oil never makes it back to the sump. Interesting idea Dave. I'm convinced that I lost a bit of oil in the past when I put my vent in a suction area of airflow, and I would worry that yours will do the same. Clearly, it's not hurting you, since it's been thoroughly tested, and it might even be a good thing.
