Sorry for the confusion; I was referring to the ATP (Innodyn) turbine 
(flying on an RV-4). The Mistral is probably a fine engine.

You'd have to convert the RV-3 to giant scale RC model to carry enough 
fuel. Their rep at SNF told me their -4 is burning 14 GPH at 140 mph 
(about 80-90 hp).
