My oil
return from the drive goes to the cover plate, where the injection pump used to
be. I had read in Tracy’s book that
was a good place to return to, so length must not be too big of issue. There really isn’t a whole lot of flow,
and with 3/8 tubing, I wouldn’t expect it to be an
issue.

This is just how mine's
plumbed as well, and it hasn't been a
problem.
