I hope
Tracy comes back soon. My EM2 is behaving very strangely. TAS 160 when stopped,  OAT -57, MPH 1800, H20 287, oil 120, all with engine not running.

John;

Grounding is an issue, but I’m sure you have that handled.  Another issue is the distance from the display to the AQM.  I followed
Tracy’s advice and put the AQM close to the engine; you know, in the back where it belongs.  I extended the wiring to the display to about 9’.  Tracy wasn’t sure, but thought it may be an issue, introducing noise or whatever.  He added a filter to my EM2 board.

Al, I’m doing the same thing on my Cozy. I installed the box by the firewall, and made two long extension cables between the instr. panel and the firewall. I hear first time about the filter. Do I have to send it back to Tracy?

I’d say try it and see if it works.  When my display didn’t work, Tracy thought it might have something to do with the longer harness to the display; although he wasn’t sure because he had never tested with the longer leads.  I sent mine to him and he did find some what he called ‘inter-cable noise’.  It was possible the noise could result in a ‘no display’ signal.  He added the filter.  It now works fine, but I later found another possible explanation having to do with my wiring.  You may want to talk to him when he returns about the need for the filter.
