You are Welcome, Richard.

Yes, looks like you will need to use the current limiting resistors or get a different set of injectors.

Thanks for the quick reply Ed.

The injector connectors are rectangular in shape  with a centered key and the body is painted black, so that answered my question.  I will have to use Tracy's 5 ohm resistors in series or exchange the injectors.

Thanks again, Ed

Richard, are the connectors rectangular in shape or oval? Is the plastic key on the connector in the center outside of the connector or offset from the center? Black paint or shiny metal for the injector bodies? Reason I asked is the first 550 cc/min injectors were of Peak & Hold (low resistance approx 2 ohms) and had purple connectors with black bodies - looked just like the 460 cc/min types except for the purple connector. The later 550s which showed up on the turbo version were also purple but had a different shape oval connector and were shiny metal rather than painted. The later ones were Saturated types with resistance around 12-16 ohms.

I am wiring up the EC2 to our 13B and noticed that the injectors have a purple top and measure out to be about 2 ohms. According to a past e-mails, purple top injectors are the saturated type and should read about 10 to 16 ohms. What's wrong, the chart or my measuring?

Richard
