I don't recall the actual shaft diameter, but the ND (GEO) is smaller than the Mazda.  If you're interested in saving money, you might check into the Prelude alternator pulley.  I got a set of stock Prelude pulleys off of ebay and only used the p/s pulley (the alt pulley didn't fit), so I gave the alternator pulley to Bob Darrah for his 3rd gen alternator.  It is larger than the Mazda pulley and fit perfectly.  I'm pretty sure that Honda wouldn't charge as much as Mazdartix.

Hi Mark,

Didn't we already determine that the Prelude pulleys were made for serpentine belts?  I'm using the standard V belts from the 2nd Gen.

As for alt shaft sizes, the one thing I know to be true is that the 3rd gen shaft is larger than the 2nd gen shaft.  I believe the ND is probably smaller than even the 2nd gen.

Dave (either one <g>), can you measure the ID of that 2nd gen Mazdatrix pulley?  I'd be happy to buy one from Mazdatrix if I knew it would fit.

Thanks,

Rusty,
Yes, that's right.  I forgot about that fact.  Sounds like Mazdatrix is your source.
