Sorry to hear that rev 3 is having problems.

Thanks, but I would have really been surprised if it work perfectly out of the gate.  Several things HAVE worked very well, and the engine is running great, but it just isn't making the power it should (yet).

I’m curious about how the temperatures you are seeing now compare to when you had the turbo.  You should have been making similar horsepower then as well.  Were your temperatures with the turbo also high ?

I'm not sure there's much of a comparison to be made.  When I had the turbo, I had the huge radiator, so water never got above about 160 as I recall.  Oil was high, even with the big Setrab cooler (which is for sale if anyone wants it).  I think the cooler was plenty big, but I had it behind the radiator, so it didn't get the benefit of cool air.

I still thing my current 3 evap system is going to be just fine, and I haven't had a temp "problem" yet.  I don't believe I'll be able to do unlimited climbs at 100 mph anymore, but I normally wouldn't do that anyway.  As long as I can do unlimited climbs at 120-130 mph, I'll be plenty happy.  My cruise water temp was as low as 130 degrees in rev-2, so getting those temps up a bit will be a good change.  Oil is going to be the problem if anything.

Rusty (still pondering my next move)
