What happened to the 2 Davies Craig EWP's that you were using? Problems?

 As I mentioned yesterday, the one I was using sprang a leak at the fittings, so I had to remove it and run with just the mechanical pump.  The irony here is that I added the pump to make the system more reliable, and it was the first thing to fail  :-)
 
For the record.  The pump itself is not at fault, aside from being plastic, and not having available AN fitting options.  If I had machined the o-ring grooves as you suggested, it probably wouldn't be leaking.  I still have one that's untouched, and may take another shot at those fittings.  Meziere didn't give me much of an answer to work with, other than telling me that the more expensive pump would have less restriction when it was off.  The pump I'm looking at is about $360, which is pretty steep.
