Fuel lube is similar to teflon tape or plumbers paste except it is specifically for aircraft fuel/oil systems (hence the price).  It lubricates and seals the threads on pipe fittings.  I use Sealube from aircraft spruce http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/cspages/sealube.php .

Thanks for all the help.  I ordered my Walbro pumps for $119 each.  I ordered the fittings Rusty suggested below.  Everything has showed up and guess what, I've got more questions. :)  First, on the pumps, it looks like the fittings seal by crushing an aluminum washer.  Would it be ok to put fuel lube on the fitting also?  
 
I don't think fuel lube will hurt, but I also don't expect it will help either.  The seal is made by the crush washer, and not the threads.
