I do not know what vehicle that the 3.75" thick
core came out of.
I hope Rusty has the answer.  I am also thinking the same
way in that a
properly designed duct will increase the efficiency of
using the core
instead of a thin radiator.  My duct will run from the landing
brake back past
the firewall about 3 feet.  It expands to the full
width of the
coolers.  The RVs are successful with their short ducts so I am
wondering how
small length X width or how thick is optimum when a
longer duct is used.
Where in the strake are you locating it?   Are you
building a Cozy?
