I believe the pumps are rated at 90 gph at 43 psi (at least mine is). With no flow - my pumps will put out over 80 psi. So to keep the pressure down to 43 psi the regulator will have to pass quite a bit of fuel flow (over half??) down the return line back to the tanks So I am not surprised with two pumps on to see 80 gph flow back to the tanks measure in the return fuel line.

Wow, is that true Dave? That seems high, but I have no way of measuring it. I run both pumps all the time (aside from testing them individually during preflight), so I guess my fuel stays pretty well stirred :-)
