Hi Giff,

What is the gear ratio of the Mistral PSRU.  I probably have seen it,
but don't remember.

Hi Guys
I just ordered my PSRU last week at AirVenture2004 from Mistral. As
some of you know, I am building a Lancair IV-P with a 20B. I already
have a 4-blade MT hydraulic propeller, so wanted a PSRU that had that
capability and right hand rotation. The Mistral had that. The gearbox
also comes with a propeller governor drive pad, plus a second drive
pad. In addition, there are provisions to be able to install a belt
driven alternator/generator. The box is designed for a 300hp
continuous rating with a good TBO. It will bolt directly to a 13B or
20B engine. Mistral currently has a ongoing FAA certification effort
for a rotary engine with this gearbox in Florida. The reason that I'm
telling you all this is that the more orders Mistral gets, the earlier
they will start another production run. My estimated delivery date is
March of 05, which is not unreasonable based on my building progress,
but I would feel really like to ensure that that date is very solid.
It will be, if there are some more orders.  You can find Mistral's web site at www.mistral-engine.com
