Hi All,

FWIW, I did some poking around with Google, and turned up another alternative.  It, too, is a bit pricey - $145 (USD) for the pump and the AN8 fittings are another $7.20 each.  Moreover, the flow rate may be a bit of over-kill @ 225L/Hr.

Take a look at:

Ron,
This may sound weird coming from a Lancair guy, but Van's carry's a Airflow Performance EFI pump that is very simlary to the one Tracy carries (see attachment), but it has fittings on the inlet and outlet.  You can see their kit at http://www.vansaircraft.com/cgi-bin/catalog.cgi?ident=1091453251-382-303&browse=engines&product=fi-install As you can see, it is much more costly, but then it includes much more than just an efi pump.

With that said, I had an Airflow Performance pump that I had purchased from an auto parts store in S. Calif. (don't remember the name) that was around the same price as Tracy's pumps.  You should be able to find these at a good parts store in your neck of the woods.  I am using it on my 3-rotor installation.  The only thing I don't like about it is that the outlet is a banjo type fitting which requires the fuel system make a 90 degree turn as it exits the pump.  But that is a minor annoyance.  The problem was that the banjo fitting had a hose-barb connection.  I cut that down and tig welded an AN bung in place of the barb.  That solved that little problem.

Hope this helps some.
